This mountain has various hiking trails of different degrees of difficulty. We can decide in the morning ( depending on how many show up) which trails to take, if we go as one group or divide up the groups based on skill level. There is an easy way up then various ways to get down. I am a novice but game for trying this out. Anyone who wants to lead the hike, let me know. Check out their web site, seems very interesting, http://www.hawkmountain.org/
If the weather is going to be bad, will make decision to cancel two days before. I figure we can make it a moderate hike, nothing too crazy and finish no later than 2 pm. Bring binoculars. More information the week before.

Many thanks to Ann & Christian for such a lovely day. Sorry that we missed RJ and Sandy. We waited in the parking lot until 9 a.m. before starting our hike. The views were amazing. The River of Rocks Trail was challenging but fun for us novices. Ann was an excellent trailblazer!! ~ Sue & Rick
Oops... I did not realize that I had an R.S.V.P. of yes for two different events. Through the 1st of October I am at polo.
I'm driving from Conshohocken. Does anyone want to carpool? I don't mind driving.
